Dress-alike help!

I fell inlove with this dress at DB. But there are a few catches. 1)It's only available online 2)It only goes up to size 16, and I'm just a bit bigger than that 3) it's over $700 and I'm trying to stay on a budget. Can anyone help me find a dress close to this?

What are the features on it that you like? Makes it easier to find a similar one. Cap sleaves can be added to any lace top pretty easily. Have you tried on the dress or at least similar dresses? If you have, then you could always look for a used dress in your budget.

I would go try dresses on first and take a picture of this so they can see what style you like. You might fall in love with something completely different. Dresses can look very different on.

I'm an advocate of not buying your dress online unless you have tried it on. And as a bride with a dress too sizes to small (I bought it used), I can tell you how much I wish I had spent the extra money on a dress that actually fit. Luckily I had an amazing seamstress who worked miracles. Buy the dress in your current size or only one size down.

I found them on the DB site, and they look pretty similar to what you posted (and are all under $700). As for sizing, they will have more sizes available in the store, so I'd say make an appointment to see the gowns in person.
