On hangover day #2. And going into work. BAH.

I will say, though... Painting with a Twist... BEST girls day out idea ever. I want to go back, like, now.

Glad you had fun, Carrie!

There's no way it's already Monday. No, no, no, no, no. Last week I only worked 3 days and that seemed like more than enough. Thinking about 5 days this week feels like an eternity.

Carrie! Glad to hear it sounds like you had a blast!! Angelsong, couldn't agree more! We leave for vacation on Wednesday and I have so much to do, and literally not a minute to get this all done. So now it looks like I have to take tomorrow off. What a wasted vacation day!

winechic -- Where are you off to on vacation? Have fun!

Sooo I was just helping H look for his thumbdrive and found that along with a can of chewing tobacco. Gross. I should have anticipated this, but for some reason I hadn't. I really can't say anything because its WAY better than the drinking but grossssss. LOL

Ew, I HATE that stuff! You have a good point though...good trade-off I suppose. Haha.

My only real B&M is that it's Monday, and I'm cranky. However, almost everyone I work for/with is out of the office on vacation this week so I can't complain too much. I am defilnitely going to be taking advantage of my freedom week!

I spent our first full day in the house throwing up. : And now H is feeling sick. We didn't get any unpacking done because I was either sleeping or vomiting. Carrie, glad you had a good time! I really need to find my laptop. Mobile sure is not my friend.

Angelsong, headed to San Francisco and Napa. We're going with my best friend and her husband, and the boys picked this week because the Rangers are playing in Oaklnad, and San Francisco this week, so lots of baseball, and then onto wine drinking! We rented a house up in Napa, and besides a wine dinner at one of places we're members at, we plan on sitting on the deck, and enjoying the view, and cool weather!!

Professor -- That SUCKS. That stuff has been going around like wildfire. H's dad got it the night of our wedding after spending the day in downtown Plano, my friend had it, my aunt had it this past weekend, and I felt like I was getting it yesterday but never got to the vomiting part (thank you God). I hope that you are feeling better and I hope that H, if he gets it, is over it soon as well. The stomach bug is the worst.

I'm glad you weren't trying to drive back to OK with a trash bag, though! That would have been awful.

ej - I hate it too. The funny thing is that H HATES smoking. He says it makes you smell nasty and he'd never kiss anyone with an ashtray mouth. Okay... and this is different... how? But again, I'd take it any day over him drinking again, so long as he understands the consequences of it and knows that I don't want it being done in my home. And I also don't make out with "ashtray mouth"... it's all kind of the same to me.

Oh, that sounds fun! Hopefully they will do well in San Fran, A, so that y'all enjoy it, and B, so I don't have to endure the gloating of the Giants fan in my office.

I feel like I need a vineyard trip, since this is the first full summer FI and I are both 21 and that sounds AMAZING.

We have to go to court today for a incident we were involved in last year (DH and I were hit by a drunk driver). This is one time I can say I would rather be at work. I hate overcrowded public spaces.

Hope you feel better soon Amanda! I had the hangover from hell this weekend after my friend had the stomach bug and I proceded to drink in his honor. Such a noble friend, I am.

Angel, I would be completely upset if I were you, but it is good that you are being so understanding especially after all that you and DH have been through lately. I think the thing that would upset me the most would be the secrecy and the fact that he hid it. Maybe he was just too embarassed to bring it up but hopefully he can be a little more forthcoming about it.

Kylie, sounds like your vacation is going to be a BLAST! One of my favorite memories as a kid was going to a Rangers game in Oakland. Not like Oakland is that nice, but I was a teen and Texiera was 1st baseman. Not too bad to look at when you have 3rd row first baseline tickets ;-) And renting a house in Napa sounds absolutely lovely! How great that you guys will get to really experience things!

<div>I am upset about him hiding it because I'm pretty sure that's why he's been heading to his bathroom so much the last two days. I asked him yesterday if he was not feeling well because I noticed he was spending a lot of time in there, and he said he was fine, just drank a lot of water all day. So he had the opportunity to be honest and wasn't (I don't think), and for that I'm upset. I'll talk to him about it today, but if I let it consume me like it used to, I'll lose it. I'm having to learn that I cannot control him or nag him enough to get the results that I want from him, and its so true. I can set boundaries on what I'm willing to accept in my home, but other than that, I can't force him to do anything no matter how much I harp on him. When I nag him, I always get the results I DON'T want. We're seeing a marriage counselor this week too, so that's also keeping me more at-ease than I normally would be.</div>
