I heard a wonderful announcement on the radio on the way home last night.  Star & Buckwild are returning to Philly!  Yayyyyyyy.  No more crap radio in the morning!  I can't believe I'm so excited over a radio show lol.

Update on H's gma... she got through surgery well, they didn't finish until almost 8pm last night.  Doc believes it was stage 1 and he got everything out, which is great.  Now she just has to take it easy and recover.

    HM - It's ok, i was mad when Chris Booker left Q102.  I even remember when it happened, the day oafter memorial day... it was all music and I was like WTF?!  YAY for h's gma's surgery went well!  Glad it was only Stage 1.

    I confess idk who Star and Buckwild are.

    I am going to get my nails done while A is in school. Thank goodness. They are like talons. LOL

    I really don't expect people to know who they are.  They were fired from Power 99 a few years ago after a bunch of drama.  Star is out of control and brutally honest.  I love it, so entertaining... kinda Howard Stern-ish I guess.

    Morning! I'm so beat. FI decided to be out with friends until 4 am (or at least that's when he came to bed and woke me up) I'm so peeved that he woke me up and then fell asleep.

    MH- so glad gma is ok - and T&P still for a swift and full recovery!

    I also had no idea who they were - I'm a Danny Bonaducci listener and Preston & Steve. I confess that I miss Howard Stern though - on regular radio - his Sirus show kinda sucks b/c he can do whatever he wants so it's no longer risque it's just gross.

    Morning ladies (and gent),

    I seriously cannot wait for this week to be over. We have a big work event this weekend and the last few weeks have been insanity getting things together. Also, I am a dummy and decided to have a jewelry party at my house tomorrow night, so I have to clean my house and bake a few desserts tonight in preparation. BUT this weekend DH and I are headed to his parents' shore house for a weekend away - Come on Friday!

    Also - a belated Halloween pic - not great but it's all we took. Here's Marilyn and Elvis =)

    MadamA - It looks like you and hubby were doing a vegas wedding theme.... look at your halloween pic and wedding pic stacked above lol.  White dress... check, black jacket... check, blonde hair... check :)

    MH - I actually noticed that too after I posted the pic. The poses are even kind similar... too funny. DH was having WAY too much fun with his Elvis "snarl" that night.

    Me too FutureMrs-- preston and steve all the way. Def helps me not be so cranky in the morning haha

    This week is painfully slow. I made a sweet and sour pork chop receipe last night that was so good and really easy,  so I'll share with you ladies:

    Sweet and Sour Pork

    1 ½ lb boneless pork cut into 1”piecesOlive OilSalt / Pepper½ cup barbeque sauce½ cup pineapple juice¼ cup white vinegar1 T. corn starch1 20 oz. can pineapple chunks,Drained1 bell pepper ‐ Cut into strips½ white onion ‐ Cut into strips Cooked riceBrown meat in a small amount ofoil. Season with salt and pepper.Stir in mixture of barbeque sauce,pineapple juice, vinegar, and cornstarch. Cover and simmer untiltender. Add pineapple, onion, andbell pepper. Simmer 10 minutes.Serve over

    Nicole - I did cry. And I get sad everytime I think about it being gone. 104.5 is emo crap, and 93.3 plays the same stuff over and over again - if I hear Nirvana one more time I might scream.

    Good Morning!  First day off for me for the wedding!  Lots to do.  Already met with our priest and next on to our reception venue to give our payment!!!  Ha, I don't know why I'm so excited to give someone money!
