Any Indian brides present?

I was wondering if there are any Indian brides present on this local board! I'm looking for someone to compare notes with on vendors!

    The only one that comes to mind for me is teeniegreenie. She is already married, but has her vendors and planning site in the sticky at the top of the forum in the vendors post, page 2.

    Completely off topic, but are you from Northville?  My college roommate had a friend from High School named Sonali.  I'm not sure how common of a name it is though...possibly very.  LOL!

    Any help with which vendors NOT to use? Which to use?

    Well depends on what type of vendors you're looking at. I had a catholic ceremony, so I can't help too much w/ the ceremony side of things.

    Mine and the girls' lenghas came from India and I got our jewelry in California. The only "Indian specific" vendor I used here was my mehndi lady. She was awesome and her contact information is in my bio (see the link below).
