I recently purchased the "Karena Royale" style dress by designer Maggie Sottero in a size 14. It is ivory lace over ivory satin. It is a one-piece, strapless, slim A-line gown with corset closure. This style features Alencon Lace adorned with sparkling sequins and beading. The strapless neckline is enhanced with scalloped edging, while a satin ribbon and glistening brooch accent ornaments the waist. It is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL gown.
Unfortuantely, it doesn't fit me and alterations to bring it down in size will cost way too much. I purchased the gown for $1,200 and have the receipt, if needed.
This dress will be PERFECT for the bride who has a 42D bust, 33.5" waist, 42" hips, and is 5'4" - 5'5" (you could also be shorter if you plan on wearing heels!). Please keep in mind that there is a CORSET back, so any variation in exact sizing could be corrected by the corset. The pictures below shows it "bustled", however, those alterations have not been completed, as I found the dress doesn't fit well at my first fitting.
