so the girl who was going to be my maid of honor turned out to be a self centered bitch.
it hurt. i tried to give her all the plans and she started yelling about this and that, saying what i can and cannot do.
I'm the bride I should be able to do whatever I want.
I had to put my foot down and tell her that shes no longer my maid of honor just a bridesmaid.
We ended up no longer being friends. It hurt like crazy, and I still feel so guilty.
Now shes telling everyone that everything was my fault.
any advice other then ignore her?!

So her turning out to be so mean and self centered was a big surprise to me.

I get the feeling this is a very biased view of what actually happened, especially because of the bolded line. You don't get to do whatever you want just because you are the bride.

Ignore her. What else would you do?

But seriously, you can't tell your MOH or BMs what to do. All they have to do is wear the dress and stand next to you at the altar.

What plans did you give her?

If you're trying to make her do anything more than wear a dress and stand up for you on your wedding day you're probably going a little overboard.

If she wants to throw you a party or help you with your wedding plans she's doing it because she's a good friend - not because she has to since she's your maid of honor.

Sorry your friendship has seemingly been ruined. Maybe you two should sit down and talk it out and figure out what expectations you each have.

I'm a very laid back person, so it usually doesn't matter to me.
I have to Moh's and at the time we were looking at dresses for the girls.
She wanted a 500 dollar dree. I said no, thats not fair. plus it wouldn't look good on the girls who are heavy set. she said 'well if they love you they'll save up money and lose the damn weight!'
I was mad, because she had just lost a lot of weight, and expected everyone to do the same. (she lost the weight by starving herself and walking everyday.)
then I decided it would be cool if we all decided on a short dress that everyone could wear again, and that was cheap for the girls who have real bad money problems. she through a fit. 'Well I guess I'm the only one who rly even loves you, because I'll save up all the money I need to get you the perfect dress'
I kept telling her 'thats not very nice Erin!'
I tried to ignore everything because we had such a deep friendship.
Till she looked me straight in the eyes and said 'I'm NOT wearing anything short, or pink! So get that F***ing idea out of your head now or I'll knock it out!'
I was stunned.
((shes changed since her weight loss. Shes no longer that fun tom boy but some stuck up preppy girl))
I told her she can't do that. I changed her position and she started to bitch me out about this and that. (I'm not a very good friend, I was never there for her, blah blah blah)
I told her that I need some time to think about our friendship, and that her saying that to me hurt because I was always there for her!'
((I travel alot, and everytime I would try to go out and visit her she would make up an excuse. she was mad at me because I never came to visit her.))
and she said 'well I don't want to be your friend anymore! You care more about your damn wedding and your ugly fiance to care about me!'
I said 'wtf ever you need to stop and think about what your doing. Try talking to me again when your not so mean!'

I'm 21. She moved while we were still in HS. I barely got to see her.
I would never hurt her at all.
I try to avoid violence as much as possible.

I lose weight and gain weight, I'm like a yo-yo.
I love the way I look.
I always thought she looked beautiful.
Shes a very tall girl, with curves.
But someone called her fat and no matter who much me and some other girls tried to convince her that she wasn't she forced herself to lose the weight.
