My girl by The Tempations. When i was little I used to sing it out loud all the time it came on the radio. It was my favorite song. I figured it has some meaning behind it so it would be great for me and my dad to dance to it.

We are also doing My Girl by The Temptations. We have more of a fun relationship than a sappy one, so I wanted our father-daughter dance to be upbeat as well

Just Fishin by Trace Adkins my dad loves fishing and we always went fishing when I was younger and a clip of my great grandfather singing Thank Heaven for Little Girls.

We're doing a salsa and reggaeton song because we love to dance and my dad taught me how to dance when I was little. So it will be fun and different but still very sentimental to both of us!

We are doing both mother/son and father/daughter together so we are using 'my wish' by Rascal Flatts. If it were just father/daughter it would probably be 'Brown Eyed Girl' by Van Morrison. He used to pick me up and dance with me to this song all the time when I was little.

I Loved Her First by Heartland

I was thinking about choosing Just Fishin by Trace Atkins, but I think its an awkward speed for dancing- not a slow dance but not really fast or upbeat either. So I'll stick with the traditional slow dance that'll make my dad cry (and me too).
