Grad School

So last night I presented my final thesis for my masters. It went well and I'm so relieved it's finally over. I still have to do minor corrections and turn in my final draft, but it's not much left to do.

I know a lot of other girls on this board are still in school as well. I just wanted to say good luck with the end of your semester. The light is definitely getting brighter at the end of the tunnel.

Congrats! Glad to hear it all went well. I plan on starting with my Grad school after we get married. I miss school(I'm a nerd) but I'm sure it will take some getting used to.

Thanks for the encouragement! I am done for this semester and it feels so good! I'm only taking two classes this summer which will be nothing compared to the five I took this semester (while working full time). Can't wait to be done in December!

Congrats! That must feel great to be done; I won't be done until May 14th and then I have one online business simulation class before I get my Master's degree.

I would love to say I'm done with classes forever after this, but if I become a CPA, which I'm planning on, there's this Continuing Professional Education requirement every year, so I'll still have to take CPE classes every now and then. I guess it makes sense since the accounting rules are always changing, but how annoying to never be done!

Congratulations! I know that's a big relief to have over with!

I graduated last year, but FI is currently finishing up law school and I'm SO ready! He's done with class tomorrow, but he has papers and exams until May 2nd. He'll get a little break, graduation on the 13th and then the 15th he starts bar prep and will be in serious study mode until the bar at the end of July. I'm soooooo ready for him to officially be DONE!

Congratulations!! I got my Bachelors in 2008 and am going back to school for a second Bachelor's in nursing this fall...I am sooo looking forward to it! DD is going to daycare, so that is the only downside, I'm going to miss her because I'm pretty much a SAHM right now (I work PT 2nd shift when FI is home to watch her). Other than that, I love being in school, I took a pre-req class last fall when DD was just a newborn and it was nice to have that time to myself, even if it was spent in class.

that is so sweet! and well deserved! congratulations. i just got my thesis role in our show season for next year and i am so excited but can't believe i'll have my masters in a year (it's a 3 year program)!!!

me too!! i rode my bike to school this morning and it was 27 degrees outside! it snowed/hailed/rained (which turned to ice) yesterday! Come on spring!
