Re: Can I boot my Flower Girl?

  • Damn, I was hoping this was going to involve cute pictures of Taryn somehow. Not a BSC genuine question.
  • HAHAHAHA Emily.  Fooled ya'!  (I'll work on getting some cute pics for you, though)

Sigh. It's so hard to even deal with these anymore.
  • I don't even want to read it. That's just sad.

  • It WAS sad.  Can you imagine?

Incidentally, the wedding I went to this weekend had two flower girls, ages 2 and 3.  Neither of them wanted to walk and throw petals.  They just wanted to hold hands and charge up the aisle to the altar.

You know what the bride did?  She laughed.  And let them do it.  She, like all of the guests, thought it was adorable.

  • What is wrong with people??  She wants to boot a 3 year old?  Seriously?  I don't even know what to say to someone like that.

  • *sigh* yeah, and while she's at it, why doesn't she just break all of her flower girl's toys and call her a doo-doo head.

I seriously cannot believe that was a real post. That makes me all kinds of sad/disappointed in the human race.

  • Well, thankfully, it looks like she's realizing now she's making a mistake, and she's listening to advice.

It doesn't happen too often, but when it does, it's pretty gratifying. :)
