I'm irrationally irritated with my husband for not bringing me soup. I love soup--nearly all kinds. I'd be fine eating it every single day. It just so happens that he's working down the street from a restaurant that sells NOTHING BUT SOUP. They have about eight varieties daily. I want him to bring me some of each, but I'd settle for a big container of just one kind.

He now says it's too hot for soup. This place is about forty minutes away and completely out of my way. I have no reason to ever go by there. I think he needs to suck it up and play delivery boy.

There are neighborhood associations all over the foothills here are "renting" goats to eat down the weeds and stuff to keep fires from starting around their houses.

One of the farms I drive past every day has goats, but the grass is so tall, I can barely see them. Perhaps they need more goats?

I also hate Family Guy. You know what I hate more? That stupid show with the guy from The Lord of the Rings and the dog. Wilfred? Horrible. H thinks it's hilarious.

I don't know, KJB. The local independent grocery sells a cold strawberry soup. It is fabulous. H refused to try it the first few times I bought it, then finally gave in and ate the entire container.

I'm really tired of feeling like shite. I hate being sick..I need to vacuum and dust, and work on my paper for school. FI is being awesome, even though he's studying for a promotional exam.

I'm laid up and my youngest DD is too because of the dislocated ankle, so he's been a trooper with the running too and fro.

Since I'm so sick of mashed potatoes and toast, he's making me mac n cheese for sups!

So the hand part of my thumb (does that make sense) has been hurting for a few days. I'm blaming it on all the charts I have to make at work. Since I'm the only one there late, it somehow became my job to make all the charts. Thanks shitty coworkers.

Gazpacho is a kind of cold soup. Cold soup in general doesn't really have a name. Vichysoisse is cold too.
