age cut-off for kid favors?

We are having some kiddos at our wedding, since my FI is older and most of his groomsmen/ushers have started families and are all traveling from out of state.  I'm creating favor bags for the kids, mostly with dollar store items of crayons, coloring/activity books, a foam baseball, a globe pencil sharpener (it fits the theme), and a deck of kid-friendly playing cards (Crazy 8s, Old Maid, etc. in Disney characters).  For those under 1 year I have teethers shaped like the state of Michigan (Etsy).  The question is - what is the appropriate age cut-off for kid's toys?  I was thinking 10...does that sound reasonable for the gifts I've got started?

Hmm..My neice is 8 and I think she would be old enough for the gift bag..so I would say between 8 and 10.

I agree with Melanie.. 8-10. Depending on the "maturity" level (if the 10 year olds think they're too cool for these toys, why bother?)

<div>Thinking I should clarify - I was going to give this to every kid under 10.  There are several between 3 and 5 - none of the pieces have small parts other than the pencil sharpener, which I only bought for the kids over 5.  Just wanted to make sure I didn't need to include 13 year olds? I was thinking they would be insulted.</div>

</div><div>When I was 13 I thought I was sooooo cool (I was an 8th grader, so I was the coolest in middle school, of course) so I would NOT want the same thing that "kids" are getting (OMG I'M A TEENAGER, NOT A BABY!) lol</div>

I would say 8-10 depending on the kids.  I have a brother that just turned 11 and even a year ago, I think he would consider himself too grown up (he also was the youngest in the house so has always been around older people).  When in doubt, ask the parents :)  We are asking parents about kids meals because we think we  have kidsunder 12 that would prefer a filet over chicken tenders, and parents are going to know what the kids want more than anyone else.
