Is anyone else running into groom clothing issues? My fiance did not want to wear a tux or suit, and we're going for something a little more old-fashioned style... not quite renaissance faire or pure vintage, but definitely not classic modern, either. I'll be wearing
this with a corset, and he will be wearing a coat and vest similar to
this. Problem is, he's not sure what pants or shirt to wear under them. We tried Gentleman's Emporium, but the pants he bought fit terribly... I get that it wasn't the style back then, but is it too much to ask for pants that look slightly old-fashioned and still show him off a little? Sigh.
Anyone having similar issues, or know of any websites I might try? Aside from the aforementioned Gentleman's Emporium, almost all sites I've found are really costumey or really Amish looking, and neither of those are quite what we're going for. Just want some simple brown pants that don't look like they came off a J. Crew model!
