We have only 8 Months to go! I'm soo excited and yet feel like I've got so much to do still.

How are the rest of you feeling at this 8-month-mark?

I'm feeling pretty good. There's been more to do, but not so much that I feel overwhelemed. At this point we're at the halfway mark of our engagement so I'm just ready for the day to be here already!

WOW! You just reminded me .... Time is moving so fast! All of our major stuff is booked venue , florist, photog and DJ ... I figure in the spring I will get back into planning mode for everything else... Happy planning ladies : )

Well I haven't done any official planning since I booked the church and reception site the first week of January but I've been doing a lot of research online and thinking about what I want for decorations, flowers, dresses, etc. You girls stress me out since you have so many more things planned then me! LOL.

I went and tried on dresses yesterday and looked at bridesmaids dresses with my Mom and soon to be sister-in-law. I guess I need to keep looking and make a decision soon. I'm planning on going home to look into photographers and florists in about 4wks. Then the next time my fiance and I are back home together we can look into tuxes and DJ's. We've only been engaged for 2 months so I don't feel like I'm that far behind and I do realize some of you have been engaged for awhile and had more time to plan but you still make me more stressed! It's all good though, I love coming on here and talking with people about stuff and seeing where you all are at in the planning process.

I feel like I have sooo much left to do. I met with the florist yesturday and came up with some great ideas. Still need to send out my save the dates and a bunch of other things.

Yay! Im so excited...I have started doing some more of the detail planning. My BMs picked a dress they all like, Im am 90% sure I have decided on invitations, and I have my STD list and Guest List finalized. (Okk so this does not seem like alot! But its a start)

So far everything has been pretty great! I placed the deposit on our ivory chair covers and brown satin sashes ($173.50, including shipping, for 225 of each!!) I snagged a deal on weddingbee.com that a vendor out of kentucky was offering. (And I already checked references, so I know she's legit.) We've secured all of the majors, DJ, venue, dress, photbooth, photographer. We've got our first cake tasting this coming weekend. I've actually gotten quite a few of my DIY projects started and a few finished!

The only thing we're having issues on is our music selections. We couldn't find anything we were crazy about for the ceremony so I feel like we sort of just settled. And we still haven't decided on an intro song for the reception, but we don't need that right now so no biggie I guess.

I have almost all the major things done, Dress, Venue, Officiant, Entertaiment Company(photo, video, music), Invites, Lists, working on Save the dates, as we just got our engagment photos done this past weekend, FI bought his Band this past weekend too, Honeymoon is booked, but still have to do the flight, so we are in good shape, though i might add, that i have engaged since Nov '10

I too am now starting stress over the little details, decorations, personalization, things i want to do for my girls, and our families

I have couple awsome projects that im ready to dig into, but REALLY dont need to for a couple months yet...im trying to have as MUCH as possible complete ahead of time

We too are excited!! Im SOOOO ready to wear my dress, I have it as my it as my background on my computer and my icon on here, and then head to the beach for our wonderful honeymoon!!

Jenna~ Best of Luck with you move!! Your are doing just fine, that is all the "BIG' stuff minus the officiant, so just make the ONE wedding thing that you work till you get through all the other stuff
