  possibly. that requires a run to the liquor store though. I don't have sloe gin, Southern Comfort (although I love that stuff-I can drink it straight out of the bottle), or amaretto. I'll keep it in mind, thanks!

  I was thinking of red food coloring (for the beer anyway).  For the cocktails, use grenadine, cranberry juice, tomoto juice (bloody marys), etc. 
  
  I would imagine that Alabamans drink Natural Light or Pabst Blue Ribbon so I don't have a good recommendation besides color.

  Or use the clamato to make cheladas like Lala is recommending (clamato can also be used for bloody caesars).

  I graduated in 2006, so we were in school together at the same time, whoop. there is a chance we could have met. I'm actually STILL in CS getting another degree, can't wait to get the eff out of this town.

  Bloody Caesar = Bloody Mary except with clamato instead of tomato juice.  Apparently, Canadians love these things (so says my Canuck BF).  He tries to order them all the time and gets the side eye from the bartender.

  I like bloody marys. we have the mix, but no vodka. yes, FI's liquor cabinet is total suckage--he and his roommates buy rum, tequila, sweet and sour, margarita mix, and like random girly mixes that are never opened. the only reason we even have bourbon is because of me. my liquor cabinet is much better.
  
  my Canuck stepdad just likes Old Milwaukee's Best Light. *shudders* I'll have to buy a keg of that for our wedding just to keep him and my dad happy.

  wow, I was just going to go with wearing red/ maroon for the "game". (I really don't see it being much of a game.)  but the colored drinks are not a bad idea.
