As tradition, I def stick with white, but your idea is creative, and making things different than others ;-)
  • I think a black and white wedding is very classic.  But agree with a pop of color necessary.  I almost did a B&W wedding as was going to do pops of puple as an accent (which flowers, centerpieces, etc.).  Ended up doing grey instead b/c we found bridesmaids dresses my bridesmaids really liked and I didn't think they would look good in Black.  But the men are all wearing black tuxes with grey accents.

    Good luck!
  • I saw an all black & white wedding, that was gorgeous and it didn't have any pops of color. If they had an accent color it was pale gray, silver.

  • i think black and white is classic and gorgeous. as for it being fall it shouldnt matter. im having a fall wedding and my colors are capri blue with black accents.
  • My Fall wedding was Black & White themed with only a few pops of my favorite color of lime green.
Bridesmaids were in floor-length black, groomsmen in black tuxes w/ black vest and white shirt (groom had white vest).  Bouquets were mostly white with a few soft greens, centerpieces were white feathers, etc etc etc.
I thought it was gorgeous (I'm biased, obviously) and we received a lot of compliments on the decor/styling.  Go for whatever makes you happy!
(We did use some white pumpkins as a nod to Autumn)
