Any theater people in here?

I remember a while back in a WPBP of the day that a lot of like theater. So I am going to go out on a limb and ask if any of you have good monologues. I have one from about 5 years ago, but I think I'm now too old for it.

Re: Any theater people in here?

  • Not at the moment. I used to do theater all through school and loved it but after my grandpa got sick I had to grow up fast and help raise my brother(long story). I really miss it though.

What's your favorite play? Broadway show? Movie made from a musical?

  • I used to love the one from Star-Spangled Girl.  "Mr. Cornell, I have tried to be neighborly, I have tried to be cordial..."  I don't remember much more of it, but it's a good one.  Neil Simon tends to be my go-to for monologues.

This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • I'm not in theatre, but I've been active with the Vagina Monologues the past two years.  So that's a huge collection of monologues right there.  This year I did the Angry Vagina.  Not sure if that's the kind of thing you're looking for, but I definitely don't think you'll be too old for it. ;)
