i just wanted to say sorry for my outburst/over-reacting last week.  It was a really crappy day (I had to fire someone) and I was feeling horrible and just took things extremely personally... so sorry.

Anyway- I hope everyone had a great weekend and that you all are staying warm (it is freezing here in Colorado - like a high of 11 type of freezing!)

    Seriously, no big deal!! I am glad you are back :)  I like your posts and I'm sorry you had a bad day last week. That sucks about firing someone; I hope I never have to do that. I would probably cry while doing it :(

    11 degrees - YUCK!! Thankfully it only hits into the low teens or below once or twice a winter here in lower MI :)

    i thought that reporting would make it look different, like maybe it would have a red star next to it or something. but that's probably too much for TK

I totally agree- snow I can handle but this frigid cold crap is for the birds!!!  Did you see the overnight low is supposed to be -5... yuck!  Well I just hope that this is the stupid cold week and that my wedding week will be warmer... what exactly was I thinking getting married in Colorado in January???

    Oh boy, the only reason I know of Littleton is because of Columbine. Were you in Littleton in 1999?

    P.S. J.Mo was not even 8 when that happened so I wonder if she knows about it or remembers it... I was in my sophomore year of HS so it hit as close to home as it can when you're a couple thousand miles away.

    oh it was horrible.  I have a huge bruise on my leg from pinching myself while talking to her (an old boss told me to pinch yourself if you feel like crying... it works but leaves battle scars!)

    i know right!! actually I was- I have a lot of family coming from Europe, and since they come and stay for a couple of weeks, I figured I could send them skiing for a couple of days.  I just hope I dont freeze!

    yea- i went to Chatfield which is the rival school of Columbine.  I was pregnant with my daughter and lived less than 3 miles away.  It was really scary and sad...

    If we're talking Fahrenheit (damn Canadians with their metric system and Celsius temperatures!!!), lower MI rarely gets below 20 degrees. Hitting 0 or negatives happens once a winter, if that. Usually it is between 20-35, which sounds like an improvement compared to Quebec and most of Canada.

    I think Ritzy hates football, so she wouldn't fit in in Texas :-P
