Questions for a florist?

I am meeting with my first florist tomorrow and I can't think of any good questions to ask... Any suggestions for the important stuff I should ask?

I am a florst, if you want to go cheap, just have mainly carnations. These flowers are look generaly normal. Dont look cheap. Ask about delivery of flowers so no one need to go to the florist day of. Daisy (white) are the same. Orchids will be the most money. Rose 6.00 each, oh but "spray roses" 3- 1.00 just smaller that all.

First of all, I would tell them your vision for your wedding and see if they "get it"--do they understand your concepts, your wishes, your needs, and do you feel like you are on the same page. Do they show you creative ways to work within your budget?

- Cost: rental, delivery, set up, take down
- What time will they arrive on the day of the wedding? When will they pick up their items? Who will actually be doing the flowers?
- Are they familiar with your venue/have they done weddings there?
- How long before the wedding can you make changes/add or remove items?
- How much is a mockup and will they provide you one?
- Deposit/payment/cancellation policy
- Will the flowers you want be in season at the time of your wedding?

Ditto Stephie, also to save money look at some different flowers in your colors online. Make sure to ask what will be in season during your wedding. I originally wanted some flowers that I would have to import in October...that didn't work out $$

go in perpared. let them know you budget, if your pricing out let them know! dont be scared your not taking any money out your just sitting and talking to them about your wedding flowers. be honest and trust me they will work around your budget everyone needs the business right now.

i went in perpared and i told them want i wanted to spend, no problem i got what i wanted and more, their the pros
