Cheap Ceremony Sites?

So I've been looking at a numerous amount of sites online and I have yet to find a really cheap ceremony site. Does anyone know of any that are decently priced or even free for a group from 100-200 people? The wedding is in the Summer.

I found Southwest Community Church from an online search.  It is just south of Lake Harriet, so the location was good for us and it fits up to 250 people.  We're only paying $250, and we get to bring in our own officiant (my grandmother)!  If you don't have your own officiant, I do know they just got a new pastor, and he seemed really cool when I met him.  I have some pics in my bio if you are curious.

Other than that, I know that a lot of churches will waive the ceremony fee if you become members.  Do you have a reception site yet? Many reception sites will allow you to do the ceremony there for free or for a minimal fee.  You can also check out some of the local parks and pavilions if you are open to an outdoor wedding.

    Hope that helps!

We're getting married at the Walker United Methodist Church, and its only $100 and you can bring your own officiant.  They are really hands-off, which I love.

It is located in Southeast Minneapolis, but the church is really cool if you love old brick buildings (which I do!)

It seats about 200 people.  Let me know if you want more info!

I second Macalester! http://www.macalester.edu/conferences/weddings.html The space is unique and in a convenient location to mpls and st paul. Per their site, the $500 includes "a Chapel Monitor to staff your rehearsal and ceremony, free parking in campus lots for your guests and use of a baby grand piano or small German organ. "

Thanks ladies for the info. It's really appreciated. Apparently my fiance does not want to get married in a church so I have to look at other venues. I'll definitely look at Macalester.
