The Wedding Dress

Has anyone been to The Wedding Dress in Portland?  I'm starting to make appointments to try on wedding gowns but I'm not sure where to start.  The Wedding Dress has won all these awards according to their website but I don't know anything about it and have never heard anyone recommend it.  I have an appointment at Mariella's to start and wanted to make a few more.  Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

    It was recommended to me...but I found my dress before I went there.  I intended to though!  They emailed me back about a dress I was looking for and were very nice.  My cousin's sister-inplaw got her dress there and loved the service.

    I haven't herad of The Wedding Dress but Mariellas was great!!  I highly recommend White Dress by the Shore in Clinton.  They didn't have the type of dress I wanted and are slightly more expensive but it was truly a great bridal boutique experience.  Also, April Rose in Guilford. My mom got her MOB dress there and their customer service is awesome. It's a smaller shop but they're really helpful.

    My coworker went there and loved it. Not sure if that's where she ultimately got her dress, but she had wonderful things to say about them!

    I went to Occasions in Bethel. It's very small, but it's fantastic.

    I have not been there but a couple of my coworkers got their dresses from there.  I love Mariella's though!

    I've never been there but I second The White Dress By The Shore. I got a sample dress there for $1500 less than the original price. I have to say my experience was awesome! I felt so special and so beautiful! The shop is gorgeous too!

    I went to Stylish Impressions in Farmington and they were absolutely fantastic. I recommend checking them out.

    I got my dress at The Wedding Dress and i can't say enough good things.  They took the Casablanca dress I liked and made changes to the pattern to make it EXACTLY what i wanted.  i can't wait for it to come in!!

    Great White Way in Watertown...excellent. Ask for Maria, she's fabulous. It's a small like botique in the center of a cute little New England town. Loved it.
