Good for you Linda. Leaving a wrong fit job takes a lot of courage, but you can't do your best when it doesn't feel right. And thanks guys, I know no one "has" to come to my shower, but I know they feel that way. I'm sure it will be lovely, and I appreciate everything my MOH has done for me. Especially since he's a guy!

Lynda, that sounds like you made the right and best choice for you. That's a crappy environment to work in.

Adamar, I can teach it however I want. So I'll probably do a mix, lecturing when we have books to read, discussions, discussing their short stories, maybe some peer workshopping. I have the summer to figure it out.

I'm still going through a transition from moving from the islands. I loved my old job so much it's making it hard for me here. I'm still redefining myself, trying to figure out what I want to do. I realize that job was not it.

Haaaaaaaaaa I JUST realized that we never received our order of palms for Palm Sunday. Which is THIS Sunday. Worst secretary in the world, right here. I just spent the last 15 minutes having a minor heart attack and calling up all the religious supply stores in the area. There's one about a half hour away that thinks they have palms left. So crossing my fingers this works out.

We saw Ka when we were in Vegas. It was okay. I mean it was great acrobatics wise of course, but I had no interest in the theme. If we ever go back, I am dying, DYING to see Love. THat's what I really wanted to see but it was black on the day we had to see a show.

Good morning everyone! I cant wait for tomorrow- my friend gave me a massage voucher for Christmas and I am finally using it. And its the perfect time, because my allergies are driving me nuts and for some reason my entire neck and back are really stiff and sore. I might be sleeping awkwardly or something.

Cheyenne goes in for her checkup tonight. I'm hoping everything looks good and that they will tell me I can take the soft cone off of her. She hates it so much. I realized last night that they removed one of her canine teeth, and since she had already lost one she no longer has any canine teeth on the right side of her mouth
