Hi all I got married on the 08/09/2012 and I was coming from Ireland! So here goes....
Cosmopolition B+ A beautiful hotel and it a perfect location right in the middle of the strip and beside the bus stop and the miracle mile shops. Had a huge room a terrace one suite and a really nice view also! However... We had to keep an eye on the room charges constantly and ring up reception to get charges removed that we didnt spend. If we didnt do this we would have ended up paying well over $700 in charges as opposed to $77 which is all that we owed by the end of our stay.
Chapel of the flowers B+
Chapel of the flowers were very good at organsing stuff for us as we were coming from aborad and reall y looked after us on the day. However the live stream didnt work and they didnt inform us of this until my family got in touch who had stayed up in the middle of the night to watch me get married. They also uploaded a video about 4 mins long cutting out half of our wedding and had no sound attached to it. They said this was due to a power outage in our chapel and they did offer us extra money towads the cost of photos but I was very disapointed as were my family and my husbands.
Dollhouse A+ these guys do blowouts for $40. I had nothing organised for my hair as I couldnt get anyone in the end before I went over but went into these guys the day before and they had the whole thing sorted for me in 2 secs. It only cost me $40 and the girl spend about an hour and a half making my hair pretty. I was delighted as I was going for a volume beachy wave look and it was perfect. Last through the heat and into the next day and night no problem. These guys are in the miracle mile centre.
Makeup A+ I did my own makeup and I used all makeup forever prodects so im giving them the A+. LAsted perfectly and I was delighted with the results. Guy in Sephora gave me some extra tips. I was well able to do my own makeup but didnt really want to do it on the day but in the end delighted I did. I had no problems.
Photographer A+ we used Todd and I have yet to recieve the photos but he was brilliant on the day. Really fantastic and stayed extra time. Delighted overall very professional and a pleasure to work with.
Presidential limos A+ these guys were fantastic. One of my guests was a total selfish arse on the day was late for everything and kept trying to detour the limo when we were getting photos done with todd to head to a bar and the limo driver put up with none of his crap. Waited 20 extra minutes for us because he was late and didnt detour told him he only takes direction from the people who had hired him (us). Really appreciated this.
Olives at the Belligio B+ food was very nice and we had a great view of the fountains in the restaurant . Waiter was a little strange though and the placed lacked a little atmosphere but we really enjoyed it overall.
