Hi Ladies!

I am newly engaged, so I am here to join you in the wedding planning world! My fiance and I are planning on getting married around Stillwater, but we both live in Rochester now. We don't have a date set yet, but looking at next June or July. I am in the middle of grad school so we will want to wait until I am done with school next may.

We looked at St.Criox National, Mississippi Dunes, and Stoneridge last weekend. We are leaning towards Stoneridge. Any opinions?

    My MOH had her wedding at Stoneridge and loved it.  The room is kind of split up, but other than that, it would be great for smaller weddings (less than 250??).  Beautiful space!

    We looked at Mississippi Dunes and really like the outdoor ceremony site. The reception area was good (nothing special), but the reason we won't choose Mississippi Dunes is that there aren't any nearby hotels except for the Super 8. I kind of wanted something a little nicer on my wedding night ...

    Hello & Congrats! 
    Good luck on your planning.  We hiked near Taylor's Falls/St. Croix last year & thought there would be a gorgeous site for a CM carved out somewhere...
    We briefly looked at MS Dunes & I read one mixed review about the RC site (fuzzy memory, no details)... I bet you can find reviews via the "Minnesota Bio" page.

    All of those are great options! We're getting married in October sort of right between where you live and want to get married -- have you checked out the Little Log House in Hastings? Here's a pic -- you might want to check it out!
