Need advise/assistance from you Central Ohio brides

Hi ladies. Really hoping you can offer me some advise or maybe just talk me down from the proverbial ledge. My FI and I live on Powell, but we are getting married in Urbana, which is in Champaign county and about 45 mins away. I was hoping that in a rural farming community like Urbana I could find the rustically elegant barn in my wedding vision. I can't find anything even close to what I want. Any ideas or suggestions?? I really hate the idea of compromising my wedding vision, but I feel like I should start looking into the standard banquet hall/ballroom. Hope you ladies you can help me. I appreciate any advise you can offer.

Heck no. Go look at the Everal Barn in Westerville. I wanted a rustic wedding. We are both southern and it was really important to us to have that southern rustic feel. We really felt that the barn did this for us. It is beautiful! Hope this helps!!!

I think the barn is called "The Barn" lol.  I went to a wedding reception there once.  It wasn't too far from West Liberty I think.  That's where the ceremony was held.

I am not super familiar with the area, but I feel like Yellow Springs might have a really neat venue that would fit your theme with John Bryan State Park being right there.  I mapquested it, and it is only 25 minutes from Urbana so it wouldn't be too far away.

I actually live 5 minutes away from Urbana and there is a rustic looking church off of 29. I wanted to have my wedding there because the food was amazing and the venue is awesome but I had a hard time gettin ahold of the correct person. They actually will flip the ceremony during cocktail hour for your reception. The cocktail hour room is large and upstairs they have a rec room for kids :) The church is called Urbana Fellowship. Here is the address
    1778 W State Route 29 Urbana, OH 43078-8302

I really like this church because it looks like a log cabin. Hope this helps :)

This is right behind where I live.  I always go running in the park and have peeked in the windows of the barn!  Very beautiful!!
