Will this look good...

I know you guys are probebly getting pretty tired of all my dress questions- sorry!  =)  The following dress is one I get to try on in a few weeks when I go shopping.  I have been drooling over this gown for some time now and realize that I'll need to try it on to really know but a good point was raised by another knottie about this gown.  We are marrying on the beach and she pointed out that strapless gowns tend to be more beach...and I agree. 
This gown does have removable straps...




would it be as stunning without the straps?

judge the non-traditional, pop their happy little wedding balloons... and sleep better tonight for you have made the world a better place.

    I think the straps are part of what makes the dress unique but would still be beautiful without them. When you go to try it on just tuck the straps in to see. Either way, if this is the dress you end up really loving and you really want the straps it will be fine for a beach wedding. Don't let that influence you too much.

    that dress is gorgeous and has a beautiful shape. i think it will be just as stunning without the straps. none of your guests would know there were orginally straps on it anyway : )

    To me straps don't necessarily equal less beachy. i think both dresses would work for the beach, straps or no straps :)

    I think that particular dress would be pretty meh without those straps.

    But I don't think the dress would be any less beachy with them.

    IMHO the straps are what draw me away from the dress (don't really care for them). However, even though I don't care for the straps, I do agree with the PP. If you love the dress as is, then I wouldn't change a thing. :)

    I don't see what straps or lack of have to do with something being more "beachy".  IMO, most of the dresses you see at beach weddings DO HAVE straps, and are more fit to the occasion.
