Christian Weddings

Show me your programs!

The next big thing on my list are the ceremony programs, and I am totally stuck!  I don't know what I want.  PIP your programs to help me!  Or, PIP an inspiration pic if you have one.

Also, tell me what you're including in your program besides the ceremony order.  Bridal party?  Message to your guests?  Mailing address?  Directions to the reception?

    I don't really have an inspiration pic.  We've got to make little books, because we're putting the actual service in the programs (we're using a church service in combination with the marriage ceremony).  We'll also include the important people. 

    I'm thinking of covering it either with cardstock or vellum, depending on how each works, and maybe using a sewing machine to bind it with a zig-zag stich in a  contrasting color to the covers.  We'll put either our tandem bike logo or a bible verse on the front, and probably our names and date.

    Very helpful - thanks ladies!

    kkidd - I've seen those fan programs in a few different places and really like them, they are so cute!  If i was having an outdoor ceremony, I think I'd definitely use them.  Our ceremony is in an air conditioned church, though, so no need for fans.

    Right now I think I'm leaning towards some kind of booklet or trifold programs, maybe something kind of like jeffie described?  Still thinking about it, though...

    My computer crashed and I had actually lost mine, but happily I had emailed it to my FI one day and he still had it on his computer. Know I would need him someday...lol just kidding.

    Cover Page I found a nice monogram with a large B then our first times under it and the wedding date.

    Page 2 - a detailed description of who is in the wedding party from our parents to the flower girl.

    Page 3 - It has the ceremony program

    Page 4 - Our Thank yous to: The church, the caterer, the photographer, etc. We then have our new address as a married couple and under that we have the names of the people in our families who we would love to be there, but have passed away.
