I love them! I went on the Cadence marathon a couple of weeks ago, and let me tell you I was pretty nervous to look at the CD that arrived today! FI was there when I got the mail and I had to lie and say it was a sample from our videographer - which he cares nothing about! lol

Anyway, Cadence sent such a sweet note along with the CD. Great experience, now to put together the Snapfish book for FI!

***Edit - a few posted in PB, but only for a couple of days (Scared FMIL will see!!)

Ohh how exciting!! I just did mine today and can't wait to see the proofs. Love the lie for the FI, haha. Thankfully FI doesn't live here so he didn't have to wonder why I came home looking a little too dolled up.

Woo glad you ladies like yours! To be honest there were like 2 I really liked and the rest I was bummed about.... TOTALLY not because of Cadence or the photography or anything. I just look not myself or sexy haha I don't know maybe I just need to look again, because I literally just looked really quick and when I didn't initially like them I closed the file.

Blah, i was planning on making Tory a little book of them but I am guessing 2 pictures won't be much of a book. Now I am thinking maybe of making a super cute scrapbook type thing on Shutterfly and then putting the couple of good pics at the end as a surprise.

Oh well! I'd actually do it again, though and maybe try doing less "serious" faces And I just want to state again, it had NOTHING to do with Cadence or her team. They were great and I felt totally comfortable, I am just obviously not a good model haha

Is there even time to do a photo book before valentines day? Don't they take at least a week or two to come?

I had to look at them a couple of times to really like all of them. I think we are so critical of ourselves, and tend to only look at any imperfection. Kayla, I bet your FI will LOVE them!! I like your scrapbook idea too, with the surprise at the end

If anyone is on the fence about taking these, do it! I'd be happy to share a couple with you too so you can get an idea of how tastefully done these are...just PM me your email address.

Is it bad that I just want to see all of yours cuz I am curious

I did a bpics session with Cadence last Jan and LOVED her and my pics!
There were def some that I didnt care for or just needed a bit of cropping - like my boobs and face/hair looked great but I didnt care for a stomach roll or something like that

. We are our own worst critics though!

I put together wedding albums on Shutterfly for each set of parents and one for ourselves, plus a smaller book for grandma. So four copies of one large book, and one smaller one. We didn't get fast shipping, and we got them in a week. If you put them together today and pay for overnight shipping, you could probably get them in time.

Ever since you guys mentioned these in January I have been SERIOUSLY considering them. Want to wait till I'm a little less self conscious about my tummy (and the roll that comes with it). I'm hoping to possibly do some in June to have them ready for the wedding in Aug.

haha, I guess I am a creep then too, cause I had others send me their pics a while back, helped me decide to go through with it!

OK, so I am not so tech savvy, I usually would ask FI these kind of questions...how do I compress them??

<div>Do you have any kind of photo editing software on your computer? Most of them will let you save them as 'low res' or 'compress' or similar language. Just make sure you save-as them so you don't lose the original high quality!</div>

Martiac - I did still have to compress them in Photoshop, but it was super easy. Weebly only lets you upload pics that are 5 Mb or less, and all of these were over that. If you have Photoshop, I can tell you how to do it!

martia, if you have any regular picture software (like if you have a digital camera) there should be a feature where you can edit it, like to remove red eye, crop, etc. These programs also have the ability to "resize" the photo, which is essentially the same as compressing them. You can resize them to a preset size (usually a drop-down menu) and select one for e-mail. That should work!
