Wedding Cakes

Quick Question.! Do wedding cakes normally have one set price, or are they per person?? Working on my budget with the things I have now and the things I'm gonna need. And its secretly driving me crazy. YellCry

Re: Wedding Cakes

  • Most are per person, here the average range from 2.75-6.00 a slice depending on what you want for flavors, fillings, and decorations.  If you are trying to save money see if your baker will make a sheet cake of the same flavor and a smaller 'showpiece' for your guests to see, and you to cut.  The sheet cake would be cut in the back out of site :)

  • I think they are all per person.  The above post is a good suggestion- that's what we're doing.

  • I have found both, PP and as a whole. I do know someone getting married in July is getting sheetcakes from Wegmans and a smaller cake made by the venue.

Sheet cakes are a great idea.
