Sunday Evening!

Re: Sunday Evening!

• I've never had a macaron. I've heard good things.
• In Response to Re:Sunday Evening!:
That stinks A, is it too late to put it on a flash drive now instead of having to write everything? nbsp;Or is it already done? nbsp; What is your guys wedding date? nbsp;I may have to drive down to NC and crash it! Posted by Beachy730
May 19th. Please do! I'll save you a plate

• I was torn between blueberry or raspberry vodka tonight.  But my mom and some family friends are coming down to visit this weekend for a girls weekend and I'm going to make some vodka slush.  I figured raspberry vodka slush would be amazing so I'm saving that.

• this weekend has been odd.  An acquaintance passed away...he was only 27..ive spent the weekend reading comments from his friends...just so sad.

• In Response to Re:Sunday Evening!:
Hi All! nbsp;Had a rough and busy weekend, so I'm drinking fortified wine and eating ravioli. nbsp;It helps.nbsp; The first gift from our registry got purchased some time this weekend. nbsp; That was pretty exciting.nbsp; Posted by MyUserName1
That is exciting! We haven't really registered yet. I started one at BBB with a few random things, but we need to go through everything FI's mom has for us first.

<div>ABSOLUTELY.</div>
• I'm really sorry to hear that, Hockey. Was it sudden?
imageWedding Countdown Ticker
• ya apparently he had a massive heart attack.

• I'm sorry, Hockey.

I highly recommend macarons for everyone.  If H liked them more, those would have been our wedding favors, but instead we went with caramels.
• Mmmm, caramels are good though.

Hockey - there have been several very fit young men suffering from cardiac arrest in Europe. 3 soccer players that I know about have just collapsed on the field. I just can't believe how many young people are suffering from heart related afflictions : (
• Anyone still around? I just got home from a weekend visiting J at school. I hate the drive there and back. Sooooo boring. But since we are getting to our last chunk of money before our spring semester loans run out, I took the Expedition back with me so that he will save gas on his drive back next weekend. I am gonna stay at my parents all week to save gas $$. Blergh. But at least driving the big rig with leather seats will be nice.

• I'm still around but I am debating going to bed.  Today is my last day of vacation and 4:30am is going to come awfully quick tomorrow morning. :(
• Yuck, 4:30am?! That really sucks. I had do that a little last summer and it was not pleasant.

• I'm still around. We're watching SVU ad then FI wants to put on the Dark Knight. He can sit in front of the tv and watch movie after movie, I don't understand it. I'll probably head home soon because I'm kinda over tv.

• Sorry Hockey, that is so sad about your aquaintance.
• Ya...i have to be at work at 7:00am...but if I am not out of my house by like 5:15-5:30am I end up being late because traffic gets heavier.  This way i get to work at 6:30am and I can sit and eat breakfast and relax for a half hour.

Ok im going to bed to spend time with my kindle before sleep.

Good night ladies!
• I definitely cannot watch movie after movie. I can, however, watch good tv all day long. I just love tv more.
image
• I could watch Game of Thrones over and over and over and over again.
• Night, Hockey! Musu, I agree... I can watch much more tv than movies. I guess it's because a tv show is shorter, the plot changes more often, etc. I'm just more in the mood to read or surf the web or something tonight. Sometimes I just really like quiet.

• I think I like tv better because I get more emotionally invested in the characters and I like being able to do that. A movie is too short to really care about the people in it for me.

• That makes sense. I feel that way with books, which is why I really like series of books more than stand alone novels.

• Noodles & Co is awesome. Make sure you sign up for their email list. They hardly ever send email ("noodlegrams"), and you get a coupon for a free bowl of noodles on your birthday. :)

I finally saw "Hunger Games" today. (Really liked it.)

I walked in the door with a pizza from Little Caesars, thinking BF would be hungry, and he already had a pizza from Domino's waiting for me. Ha. Oops.

Better to have too much pizza than no pizza at all! I'm a Pizza Hut girl, not a big fan of Domino's. I'm not sure if we have a Little Caesar's anywhere around here.

<div>I'm a CiCi's girl. The last time I got a pizza to go from them I got a large 1/2 spinach 1/2 buffalo chick with pepparoni for like $8. Heaven.</div>

I always want to try CiCi's, the commercials make it look so food. I don't think we have one of those either though.

I can't even take that catloverd's post above. It makes my head want to explode.

• I know, it's just crazy. People like that make me wish we had e-slap technology.
• Ha, eslap technology, I like that. People like her aren't even worth arguing with, although I did heart MK's response.

• Oh yeah - I don't get the whole "How do I treat a gay couple on this topic" thing. They're a couple - so what's the deal? My very favorite uncle is gay and he and his partner have been together longer than most heterosexual couples I know. And my best friend and MAN of honor is gay - an probably one of the most supportive people I know. If anyone on my guest list dared to say anything to me before the wedding about them they would be promptly removed. If they dared say anything AT the wedding they would be asked to leave. I have a very low tolerance for that sort of thing.
