    Yeah, I don't really see how this is a fail. Clearly, from her post, the bride didn't think it's a fail and that's really all that matters. I think judging a proposal and judging the ring are both pretty stupid since everyone has different preferences.

    We got engaged in Maya Riviera Mexico! So beautiful..rose petals, a jacuzzi with bubbles, and champagne! I love that everyone has such different proposals!

    and then we went to work and didn't see each other for 2 days.... then spent a weekon a road trip just us ;)
    some think it's a stupid proposal... i love it! =)

    If you do a search on the user name, it doesn't exist. So, she either created the account to post that and submitted it herself, people teased her and she had the account deleted, or something.

    But there is no maggo11 or maggoo11 or maggo11 (whatever the username was) to be found on TK.

    The sharing, if you'll notice, was of non-romantic; non-traditional proposals.  I didn't put mine on because it was "traditional".  Please make sure you're posting what's relevant to the current discussion.

    I swear to God, Anna - when I searched, she wasn't found. I wonder if she's now deleted her account, but the post stayed?

    My parents's story is dreadfully romantic. 

    They were folding laundry and my dad asked my mom, "So do you want a ring or a pin?"  (Pin meaning fraternity pin)

    My dad, Mr. Romance.

    My FI proposed at home, after we got home and our puppy had destroyed the house.  I was cleaning dog shiit.  But, in a way, it's us, lol...
