To make Lala feel more at home

Re: To make Lala feel more at home

  • This is possibly tmi but I judge a little bit people who still use pads.  It's just kinda gross to me.  (Inspired by the fact that I was just in the bathroom and heard someone in the stall making a huge commotion ripping and tearing.  It's your period, not Christmas.)

[QUOTE]I judge anyone that loads all their groceries up on the register belt and stands there texting away like a food, and only when the cashier tells you the total, do you freak out and dig around your gigantor purse for your checkbook.  Comeon, use a card, or have that damn check written out already.

    Along these lines...
I judge people with a full grocery cart that refuse to wait in a "long" regular check-out line and instead choose to use the self check-out. This clogs up the self check-out from people that just seem some fudge frosting and that's it (ahem, me). Yes, woman in red parka, I mean you.

  • I judge my co-worker who called in sick today but has been posting random crap on FB all day long.  Hey, I can still see you lady. (AND, it's her 3rd sick day...this week.)

    Haha, awesome.

TJ, FI and I actually have matching Denver Broncos shirts that we wear on game days.  But not for engagement pictures or anything.

  • I judge smelly people.  I don't care if you went to the gym or got hot walking.  You should not stink in January.  It is only 7 degrees outside.

  • my boobs are pretty hefty, so without support, they'll start looking like fried eggs hanging on nails. if I had a smaller chest, maybe I would ditch the bra. but for me, shoes are the first thing to go. I hate wearing shoes.
  • I judge one of my friends for refusing to accept that I don't like one of her friends and don't want to be invited to dinner with said friend. It's been YEARS, get over it and and deal with the fact that we hate each other.

I judge (constantly and for years now) my coworker that can't do half his job (painting, because he is red/green color blind), is late every day, calls in "late" or "out" at least once a week and generally acts like he is god's gift because they won't fire him. And I judge my boss for keeping him here for so long and paying him twice my salary to do half the work.

Can you tell I haven't been around much and I've got nothing?   Honestly.  Me.  With nothing to judge.  Dammit.

  • Oh?! Is it showing up? I was playing around with it yesterday, but it's not working on my computer- maybe it's tinypic. Interesting.

  • When I'm home sick, I'm on FB.  I am laying on my couch with my laptop and watching bad daytime television.

What do you want her to be doing?  Sleeping ALL day, confined to a dark room?

  • I'm confused about the bra thing. There was the urban legend about sports bras causing breast cancer, but that's been proven false. There's no known long-term effects of what kind of bra you wear, besides that wearing bras can help prevent the breakdown of collagen in the breasts and prevent sagging.

Otherwise, I don't think it affects you in the slightest. Please post a link if somebody knows otherwise!

I just assumed people saw it as more acceptible to say than "I like the taste of aspartame." Personally, I don't care why anyone drinks it as long as I don't have to.

Um...you can be at home sick and still using the computer. But I'd probably judge b/c of the 3rd sick day this week.

Why aren't my posts showing up? Am I triple posting and not realizing it?

Edit: There they are. Don't mind me. I'll just talk to myself over here.

  • I do drink water, but I also drink diet soda. I used to drink a ton of cokes back iin high school, and I would miss the carbonation and caffeine if I didn't have coke zero.
  • Thanks pinot.

I really am laughing at the images of msmery and beatles running around at home with no pants on.  I have no idea why!  I don't like wearing jeans at home either, but I usually wear pajama pants.  I'd get too cold in just my drawers.

And I don't like water :(  I know, I know.  I just really really don't like it.  I've tried the flavor things, but they're too sweet.  Diet soda doesn't taste sweet to me at all.  I guess I do like aspartame :\  I figure I'll give it up when I get ready to have babies.

  • I drink almost nothing but water. I love it so.

Haha, it is funny, but I should elaborate. In the winter I'll usually wear yoga pants or boxers around the house, but in the summer it is usually just my grunties. Or a slip (not in a trying to be sexy at home way, more like a wanting to be comfortable and not restricted way).

  • Lala, I drink Diet Coke and Vodka all the time.  It sounds gross, but it is an acquired taste :)
  • And now I have the 'Pants on the Ground' song in my head again.

  • Mr lil's nickname from when we lived with my sister is "no pants Phil"... he never wears pants in the house, always his undies. I DED at that nickname everytime, but I never wear pants either. I'm on board with you beatles and msmery, I'm on board allll the way

  • I did drink vodka and diet coke for awhile, but it just didn't seem right. the bar tenders gave me the ole stank eye, too. I think vodka goes best with sprite or juice or something like that.
  • Gotcha, amoro! I was like "ZOMG is there a new study that shows that something else can cause breast cancer?" Cause, really, I can't take one more thing! I'm very anti-bra (as in, I'll wear them in public, but never in private).
