What to wear?

What would you wear to an 11am "black tie" wedding in a catholic church?  Black tie to me means evening gown but it's in the day time!

For it being day time (a very odd time to have a formal wedding), I would wear a cocktail dress.  I would probably wear something like this:
    or this:

Are you close enough to the bride or bridal party to ask?

Weird. I'd agree with Jagore. Something long and flowy, but more casual than an evening gown.

Guys have it easy, they can just wear morning jackets, lol.

I agree with the PP...something flowy sounds nice.

I agree..it is weird to have a formal ceremony in the morning.  Here's the twist..the wedding is at St Peter's...in the Vatican!  They have a very strict dress code, covered shoulders, no knees showing, no backs showing.  arr!  The bride is one of my bestest but I know she'll just say, wear whatever you want that follows the rules.  : )*
So I'm thinking along the lines of your suggestions, long flowy, and a bolero for the ceremony.
