So how long do I have to be around before I can say something back to someone giving me attitude? Am I just supposed to sit back and say nothing while someone talks down to me? I'm not a gorram lap dog and won't take someone who has admitted that they're having a bad day and annoying themselves taking their shiit out on me, not my job. Now if I was lashing out on someone who had done nothing to me, I could understand your point. But she gave me an attitude first, and I have every right to say something back.

OH AND?! If you notice in my last post, at point 3, I mentioned yesterday I tried to be helpful, yes? And, please, tell me you've all heard (seen) me say over and over that whenever I try to be helpful I either get ignored or yelled at. CASE IN POINT! I should really try to retire from being helpful completely. But every once in awhile, something just comes over me and the urge strikes. If I ignore those urges to be helpful on the internet, it might lead to me being helpful IRL, and we just can't have that.

Well, no. Because that's not really what's going on. At least not from my POV. MY comment was merely meant to show the hypocrisy of what you said. I wasn't even going to post in this thread until I saw that. So for me it really has nothing to do with what you posted, but the hypocritical standpoint you have on topics. That's all. And I love a good argument, so when you responded the way you did, it triggered the "FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!" part of my brain.

Amber, that was not snark. See that thread below called Air Your Greivances? I could have put it there, but I have a shitty memory so I said it when I thought it. That was not attitude at all. My point was that I find running from board to board and reposting threads that most of us read already, is annoying. That's not attitude. Its a fact.

ETA: WHat made it most annoying to me was that the only threads I remember you posting were links to other boards, with nothing interesting to add. You were being a tattletale and seemed to want to incite some sort of board invasion or bashing of this girl. We get it. She's bad with dogs. Her post on E had nothing to do with that. Get over it.

Personally, unless the linked thread sparks a conversation here, I find it annoying no matter who does it. But it's even worse when it's blatantly AWish (such as when the linker posts an over-the-top response in the linkee's thread, and is obviously fishing for praise, validation or acceptance) or if it's intended to stir cross-board drama.

Also, girls who are flamed on E have a tendency to come crying to SB, either for sympathy or because they think SB will automatically back them because of the (largely non-existent) boardwar and that whole "enemy of my enemy" thing.

I see some of both scenarios going on here.
