Need help - Indoor picture sites

Can anyone recommend places to take pictures inside besides the botannical gardens? I am getting married next Friday and I am nervouse because Buffalo has been getting rain almost everyday (at least according to weather.com) I am coming in from Florida and don't have time to look for places. I was hoping to stay in the Cheektowaga, Depew, West Seneca area. Any ideas woudl be appreciated.

Me and my fiance did engagement pictures recently, and we had to do them indoors at the last second because of the high wind/rain. Our photographer recommended Chesnut Ridge inside their casino. The place was dead and they pictures turned out really nice and cozy looking. Chestnut Ridge Park is in Orchard Park.

I would ask your photographer. If they are from the area, they should be able to suggest some nice places. Sorry I'm not much help but I'm not too familiar with places in that area.

I've seen people do pictures inside Shea's and they look beautiful. It may depend on how your timing is though. I believe Wicked is playing for the next few weeks.

I believe you have to book Shea's or the Botanical Gardens (that's what our photographer told us). He did say that Albright Knox will let you take pictures in some areas without booking ahead of time.

The Millennium in Cheektowaga has an indoor tropical courtyard with a skylight so they get natural lighting in there.    Rich's Atrium in Buffalo also has an tropical courtyard that they use for weddings.  I don't know if you need to book them ahead of time, but you could give them a call to see.

You might want to try downtown at the Ellicott Square building.  That was originally my back up for my October wedding but after seeing a couple of photos taken there,  I think it is now my first choice.  They have beautiful staircases and a grand piano...great for black and white photos.

You can't take pictures at Rich's. I am getting married there they are very particular about who they allow in there.

We are having our reception in the courtyard at the Millennium. To my knowledge you don't have to book ahead of time, and the lighting is wonderful, but since guests use that section of the hotel and it can be booked for private parties, I would call ahead of time to be safe.

teh salvatore's hotel has an awesome indoor space.

a friend's wedding went back to take pics when it started raining and we got some awesome pics...they have a little cafe type set-up, with that, the stairs, it was gorgeous...

and the rooms surrounding the courtyard are decorated to look like an italian village (like stores and things like that...)

Good luck on your wedding on Friday, I am getting married in Buffalo and I am from Florida too.  Let me know what you like or do not like as I would love to hear comments.
