Bump-Its Really Do = Disaster

So this is a follow-up to my previous question about the Bump-It's updo hair thingy.  My friend tried to put one in my hair today (trial #1) and it was a complete disaster as far as I am concerned.  I have relatively thick hair so I originally thought it would work out, but the thing ended up being darker than my actual hair, so you could totally see  the outline of it. 

Not only that, but it made my updo look so paegantish, like I should have a huge homecoming crown on to go with it.

Anyway, I just wanted to let the original naysayers know that they were right all along.  What did I expect for 9.99 anyway?

    My curiosity for Bump It's may have officially ended.

    Sorry it didn't work out. Glad you had a trial before your wedding day!!

    Lol, I'm glad you at least tried it out and can now figure something else out.

    If you want a bit of a bump, any good hairdresser can do it just by back combing your hair and some hair spray.  Thats how I do it.  Pins will hold it just fine.  I have thick hair too and it is more of a good thing since my hair can hold the pins.

    Im in on the bump-it burning!  Especially the mini one that came with it!

    lol at this whole thread. I got two sets of bump-its for christmas, and they are a MAJOR fail.
