Sorry for all the posts...I'm going to bed in a minute. 

So our photographer gave us some discounts, but also told us that since we didn't have an engagement sitting (included) we could have another sitting if we wanted after the wedding.  I was thinking (I haven't seen him do them) on seeing if he would do a TTD session, but since I am getting married in November I really couldn't imagine a winter TTD.

Would it be really really stupid to wait to get it in the warmer weather?  FI is so confused on a TTD session, he was actually yelling at MYE's photos for them to get out of the water in their nice clothes lol

    I wanted to do one a year after in May, but we both decided we wanted to wait till the fall since it's our favorite season.  What's the big deal in waiting?  I can't wait to wear my gown again and get a different take on shots.

    Well if he's giving you an extra photo session for nothing, I would totally do it anytime!  So I would say definitely wait until it gets warmer if you want to.  Plus it would be fun to try your dress on again after a couple months.

    Even with engagement pictures, you would think you're supposed to take them shortly after you get engaged.  But I took them over a year after getting engaged...which probably defeats the whole purpose but whatever.

    I don't see why not- but if FI is so against it maybe it would be better to just see how much he would take off of the price if you didn't do it at all

    Lisa Beth totally do not have a problem with doing it later!  I would love to either do a Spring day in the city or a summer day at the beach, I just wasnt' sure if it was weird to do it lol.

    To be honest, I just realized that I really don't like my engagement pictures, I always thought it was because I was sick at the time but I am starting to think that our original photog sucked lol.

    It's cold out girl, I totally understand not wanting to stand outside any other day besides your wedding day.  Oh, and we are newlyweds till our 2nd anni, so totally rock the dress!

    AK-he's not really against it, he's just really confused by it, he hears "trash" and "dress" and then sees someone rolling in the sand, I told him the dress comes clean and he said "if its something you want to do I am with you!"


    LIsa, I am totally with you on the cold!  I would love to do it around the time of our dating anniversary (July) I think it would be really cool.  I'm convinced now to convince photog :)

    a TTD shoot would be awesome.  And if you haven't seen any that he did before...maybe yours would help him build his portfolio in that aspect if he wanted to branch out a litte!  it could be a win-win...now only if you can convince Dan.  I wish I could convince Vin.

    Well sometimes they call it "post bridal session."  Call it that and then it doesn't sound like rolling in the sand!  Then maybe he'll be ok with it.

    I did a TTD in April or May when I was married in November so I say go for it.

    I'd definitely do it; I don't think it's an issue at all

    hell, we're doing our "day" after photos 4 months later!
