Is there a Maui resort that makes wedding cakes for outside weddings?

I am looking for the quality of a resort pastry chef wedding cake (think all the wedding cake shows!) on Maui.  I have contacted the Ritz Carlton and was all but hung up on and treatedSO RUDELY for even suggesting making a cake for a wedding outide of their resort.   So, instead of being treated the same and beginning to hate resorts by calling each pastry chef individually, does anyone know if one of these resorts on the island that typically hosts receptions, make cakes for outside weddings?

    Welll... maybe you shouldn't get a resort to make the cake then. Cakes by Joann is pretty popular on the board. I think she mails out samples too!

    Yeah... I agree with Kaesha... I don't think you'll find a resort that'll make a cake for outdoor weddings.  And if you're looking for "wedding cake show" quality, you'll probably be better off going with an outside vendor anyway.  The other Maui brides will be able to give you suggestions. Where are you planning to host your reception?
