Im having trouble pre registering for my marriage license...please help!

Ok, so this is my second marriage and my fiances first. I keep trying to pre register for my marriage license and it keeps giving me the same error every time. It tells me to put under the brides information "Never married" I obviously have been married before so I don't know why its telling me to do that. And if I did, would it pose a problem when I show up to get my license?
Has anyone else had this problem? I have tried calling their office and its basically just a bunch of links with prerecorded information.
Thanks for any info!

You might have to skip the pre-registering and just give yourself more time at the license office to wait in line, I wouldn't register with inaccurate information.

Are you sure you can't navigate the menus to get to a real person?  We spoke with several people at that office when we were trying to sort out getting DH's uncle's ordination approved to perform the ceremony.
This is a neglected planning bio.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

Did you remember what number you called by chance? I used the only number I could find for that office and it never gave me an option to speak with anyone.

I'd have to dig through my email and see if I can find it, I'll get back to you on that.  You might just try waiting it out and not pressing anything, sometimes that gets you through to an operator.  (Though sometimes they just hang up on you, the bastards.)

I actually just called another office and actually spoke to a real person. Hopefully what she told me will work. She said it happens all the time and that I have to put number of marriages as 2 not 1 although I haven't been married twice yet. Weird! Thanks aerin!!!

I just want to make sure I understand it correctly.  So if you were married one other time before.  Where it states "wedding number" you put 2?

When we went in person,  the box said "number of marriages" so if you were married before this would be the 2nd. They must have just changed the wording to make it more confusing online!! But I would suggest to everyone to do it online! We waited for over 2 hours on Saturday morning and every second I was kicking myself for not doing it earlier!!

This confused my H (then FI) at the license bureau when we went in.

Neither of us were married previously, and when we showed up with our confirmation number from the pre-registration, the lady that helped us told us that our number of marriages would be one even though we were not married before. I guess they count the current application as one. Seems like a weird system.

I preregistered way too far in advance so it wasn't valid when we got there.  Registering took about five minutes, and since we went on a Friday afternoon, we only had to wait maybe ten minutes total.
