[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Morning Ladies! : Nope.  I just eat the crap out of cilantro when I have it.  I try to be a sesonal eater.   Plus I have an herb saver like these: Keeps everything fresh for ages since it's got a little water reservoir.

I have been freezing pesto like mad, since my basil plant is quite abundant.

Yeah we have the same problem, basil out the whazoo. And we really have no recipes to use it in, at least the mint we use for Moijitos.

  • I might try drying some of it too, kd.  I didn't think one basil plant could produce so much.

Me either. I'll be honest I have no idea why H made me plant it. Yet we lost all of our cilantro and that and the mint is what we use the most. Next year, mint, cilantro, and rosemary will be all I plant.

I was surprised my rosemary came back from last year. So did my pansies.

  • I'm definitely doing cilantro next year.  Not sure why I didn't plant it this year.

We had 2 pots of each (I was going to bury them, ala Pinterest) but the squirrels knocked them over while we were gone and by the time I got back they were dead. And the deer ate what tomatoes we did have.

Didnt bury because dog digs in that area, PITA!

<div>No idea.  They were a gift.  Seems people can't buy me anything but cooking stuff.  Apparently I don't have any other interests but food.  So yeah, I've got most of the gadgets.</div>
