  I'm loving all these stories! I also don't feel so weird that FI and I originally met online.
  
  We both were on a forum for Kings Island (large regional amusement park in southern Ohio) fans, and we'd never really directly interacted. Just kind of commented on each other's posts and things, but never really made a direct connection.
  
  April 25, 2009: I was in line for the Racer with another member of the forum I'd met the weekend before. He turned around, saw someone he recognized and started chatting with him. Meanwhile I'm watching them and thinking "I wonder who this guy is... he's really cute." When it was our turn to ride, this cute stranger wandered to the back of the station and Adam and I boarded the car. He turns to me and says "Oh, by the way, that's dare-to-fly." (his username on the forums - for a while I knew most people from that forum only by their username!) Out loud I said "oh, cool." In my head I said "wow, I didn't expect him to be so hot!!" That night he messaged me on the forum to say he was sorry he didn't introduce himself and that he hoped he'd run into me again.
  
  The following Friday, I was at the park with my best friend and stumbled upon none other than the hot stranger! Ironically, it was in front of Racer - the same place we'd met the week before. We finally really introduced ourselves, and then ended up hanging out together the rest of the day. We both came back to the park the day after, and ended up going out for ice cream with some mutual friends. He and I stayed in the parking lot talking for hours after everyone else left, and I knew we would end up being really good friends.
  
  We took a long time to finally admit to each other how we felt (I was actually married to my ex-husband when we originally met that April, but my ex and I split in July) and finally gave in to the inevitable and made ourselves an official couple on September 18, 2009. Somewhere on my computer, I have a picture of us in front of Racer on the day we officially met!
