  I would highly recommend Paramount Cleaners in downtown Chicago.  It's 1030 North State.  She does a fabulous job and can be trusted. My sister got her dressed altered at House of Brides initially and they screwed up her dress a week before the wedding. We took it to Paramount Cleaners and she fixed the dress in such short notice and did an awesome job!

  I would recommend Sue's Bridal Alterations. Sue is a perfectionist and treats each bride as if she was her own daughter.
  I stood in my dress for 2 hours while she created a beautiful sweep train with a bustle because she didn't want to cut the train off and I wanted a sweep.
  Use her! She rocks.
  
  This was the second fitting after the hem was done and the shoulders raised a bit.,I had her sew up the cleavage too, this was the appointment when she created the sweep.
  She also took all the pictures for me! Such a sweetheart.
