Which is worse: a DJ that keeps messing up the names of the couple or a florist who doesn't show up? Explain: I think that a florist not showing up is worse. The dumb DJ is obnoxious, but I don't think I would let it bother me too much. Besides, FI's best man would probably go over and tell the DJ to can it if he can't remember our names.

What's your favorite thing about weddings? I always cry at the ceremony. I love watching the couple get married.

What are you doing for 4th of July? I have to go into work (there's a wedding at the church) for two hours, and then FI and I are going to see the fireworks.

The DJ. I don't find flowers all that important at weddings, but to constantly hear the wrong name would really bother me both as a guest or the bride.

What's your favorite thing about weddings?

Seeing the B&G get married, so I guess the actual ceremony. It always makes me a little teary.

What are you doing for 4th of July?
Gong to a friend's party in the afternoon then watching the fireworks around town at our dock. I love the dock during the 4th, it's so pretty.

At lease you can laugh at a DJ messing up because he's there, but with a no-show florist you're missing part of the "window dressing" on the ceremony and reception.

What's your favorite thing about weddings? Seeing the bride in her dress coming down the aisle. We all obsess just a little about our dresses and I like to see each bride's unique style choices.

What are you doing for 4th of July? Not much. H was in a car accident last Friday, so his back is pretty sore. We'll try to find some fireworks around town, but he can't walk too far or stand too long without being in pain, so we shall see.

Which is worse: a DJ that keeps messing up the names of the couple or a florist who doesn't show up? Explain: DJ messing up. As a guest I don't really notice the flowers as much as I would notice that! It would bug me.

What's your favorite thing about weddings? When the bride comes down the aisle - I love watching the groom's face and I always get teary.

What are you doing for 4th of July? Heading to Fi's hometown to hang out with friends and go on a booze cruise! haha

Which is worse: DJ/names or florist/no show? Florist no show. I'm big on flowers so this is a nightmare for me. Yes you could probably improvise with some flowers around the hotel or some from a quick walmart trip but it isn't the same. Also, the thought that this florist took your money and ran is a biggie! The DJ would still be playing music he just wouldn't have your names right. I see that as something you could look back on and laugh at later.

Favorite thing about weddings? Seeing the wedding dress, dancing, food, free bar, friends.

July 4th? My family is having a BBQ to celebrate the 4th and my bday. We are eating, drinking, and swimming.

Florist not showing up. You can always look back and laugh about the stupid DJ but I highly doubt any bride would ever laugh about the florist not showing up.

Open bar.

What are you doing for 4th of July?

No plans as of yet. DH and I are thinking of staying in bed for as long as possible.

What's your favorite thing about weddings?I love the first look at the bride. I always get teary eyed, even if I don't know the bride. As for the reception, cake.

What are you doing for 4th of July?No plans really. FI is having his bachelor party tomorrow so I'm assuming he will be recovering on the 4th. I will probably be busy trying to finish up wedding stuff.

What are you doing for 4th of July? As of right now, nothing. We'll probably try to find a non-crowded place to watch fireworks; we watched a few shows from the top of the Disneyland parking structure last year, but even that was crowded. We might just see what we can see from our apartment.

What are you doing for 4th of July? One of FI's GM was going to host a bbq, but his FI is going to have him OOT interviewing caterers on Sat, so he's not sure now. When he proposed 2 weeks ago he didn't realize he'd be expected to help plan. silly boy.

Which is worse: a DJ that keeps messing up the names of the couple or a florist who doesn't show up? Explain: Florist. After the DJ messed up our names once, I'd tell him he was no longer allowed to talk, only play music, and take away his microphone.

What's your favorite thing about weddings? The party! I've so far only been to weddings where I know a lot of other guests, and it's so fun to celebrate with the couple and our friends/families.

What are you doing for 4th of July? Not a holiday here, so nothing special.

Explain: While I don't really think I'd stress about either too much, I'd probably be more annoyed with the florist not showing...I'd like to at least have bouquets...I've spent my whole life having my name both misspelled and mispronounced, so I got over that...

Florist not showing up. After picking out the things and paying a lot of money for them to be right, I'd be pretty pissed to not have them show up. I'd be camped out in front of their shop the next time they come into work.
My name gets mispronounced all the time anyways, I'd just let him know how it's pronounced.

What's your favorite thing about weddings?
When something unexpected or funny happens. Whether it's a funny vow, or one of them laughing when they goof up a line, just the happiness. After all the stress stuff, it's nice to have the lightheartedness.
Also when they have really great food.

What are you doing for 4th of July?
First work, then hopefully going to see a fireworks show. It'll be a good excuse to eat a hot dog.
Plus I love fireworks.
Then work the next morning. Dang... I think I drew the short straw on this weekend.
