You know, though, if people didn't ask us the same questions every day, we wouldn't have to come up with cliche answers. Its hard to be creative when you get "How are you doing/feeling?" 18 x a day. Don't ask unless you really want to know about my reflux and the fact that I can't sleep more than 2 hours at a time because my son thinks my bladder is his pillow and is constantly "fluffing" it.
So to those singers, don't ask to be polite. its not polite, its annoying. There ARE other things we can talk about, but its hard when the other person is only focusing on the baby.
LMAO; I've never seen this before! Absolutely hilarious and so true for this one woman I know. "Boy or girl?" "Oh, we're not telling" "Any names picked out?" "Oh, we're not telling"

I laughed but I will admit I rolled my eyes at a lot of the things. If you don't care about how we're feeling then don't ask? I wish we didn't tell people the sex because now I'm going to have return assloads of pink clothes if the ultrasound is wrong. We aren't telling the name to a lot of people because we don't want their input and yes, you will hear the input of every fvcking person who asks that question. And yes, we really didn't care what the sex was as long as the baby is healthy. The sex means nothing when you are having your anatomy scan until you hear "ok, everything looks healthy. Would you like to know the sex?"

YES!!! Trust me, people ask how I am, but they don't want to know the truth. No one wants to hear about my heartburn or lightning crotch, so they get the stock, cliche answer.
I do agree with the "Oh, we know, but we aren't telling". Some pregglies can be very smug about it, especially the sex (I can understand the name thing though).

It is so tempting to be "that person" sometimes too. "Oh how are you doing today?" "Oh LO is having fun punching my cervix, I'm just great!" Ah awkward silence...

Imagine someone stabbing you in the vag. That would be it.
I had to laugh at the part when they said they wished someone would just say they don't care if it has arms, as long as it has a penis. Clearly, only a psycho would actually say that, so it's funny :P.
TBH, if I got annoyed when people asked me how I felt, I'd just tell them the truth. They asked--it's how you feel--no problem in my book. And you'd have the added bonus of people not asking so much, hehe. But I'm evil like that.
