Oak Ridge Confrence Center, Chaska

I booked my reception at Oak Ridge.  I am looking to talk to anyone who has already had their wedding there or is planning one there.  I'd love a link to your photos, and hear about the things you liked or would do differently.  I have the initial pricing information on the packages they offer but will take any more info you have on that as well.  Thanks!  Stacey sndietz@gmail.com

The Pastry Chef there was my baking instructor in culinary school :-P He was kind of a jerk.

Anyway, I've always heard nothing but great things about their customer service (I'm originally from Chaska). I have heard that depending on the size of your guest list, the area by the fireplace- I forget what it's called can get really cramped so sometimes people have had tables set up outside as well if it's nice out.

I will be having my reception there on 9/24. All I can say for now is that their packages make wedding planning a BREEZE! It's like a "wedding in a box." (But, you still get to personalize it.)

You also essentially get a wedding coordinator/planner as part of the package and they walk you through everything and remind you of deadlines. It has been a great planning experience so far and I don't have any worries about the event being anything less than AWESOME.

I was a bridemaid in a wedding last summer and the reception was held there.  I can't speak from a planning point of view but the whole evening turned out beautifully!  When we arrived from the ceremony there was a cocktail hour outside on their patio, and the dinner and dancer were inside after that.  We also used a conference room in the morning to get ready, have our hair done, etc.  The bride and groom were able to take some nice outdoor pictures in a field on the property too.  Overall I think it is a very nice venue.

I'm also having my reception at Oak Ridge! We attended a wedding there and liked the venue. When we talked to the staff, that have been nothing but helpful and prompt. Thanks for asking the question - I'm also interested to hear what people have to say!
