Are you cooking the turkey? My husband is making the turkey, but I'm making creme brulee and the biscuits and such.
What are you most thankful for?Right now, my grandma's health is not good and she may not be around for much longer. I am thankful that she has been in my life and I hope to see her at New Years.
Favorite thing to eat on Tday?My grandma's stuffing.

Who are you celebrating with? T-day with my family, then the weekend with FI's family.
Are you cooking the turkey? No, thank goodness!
What are you most thankful for? That FI and I both still have jobs. It's been a rough year.
Favorite thing to eat on Tday? Pumpkin pie with cool whip. Or maybe cool whip, with pumpkin pie. (or real whip cream, nom.)
And CTGirl, my family does shrimp with cocktail sauce too!

This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.
Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
1) We always split between my grandma and his sister for the holidays. I tend to get a little annoyed with the split, because it's rarely fair to my family (We arrive at grandma's at 3, then leave a 4:30 to make his sister's 5:00 dinner-which she has offered on multiple occasions to push back this time since she knows we hit my fam, too-then we proceed to stay at his sister's until 11 pm.) I honestly wouldn't mind the unequal time so much if FI were willing to "trade off" and maybe let my family get more time with us on Christmas or Easter or something, but he does this with every frickin' holiday.
2) No ... and I honestly have no intention of EVER cooking the turkey.
3) FI works in banking, I work in Insurance, so I'm thankful for the fact that we both work for companies that manage to NOT totally tank in this economy
4) I've only had this once, but deep-fried turkey. I thought it was the most delicious thing ever.

My family (parents & sister) and my MIL and SIL are coming up.
Nope. Mom and I do everything else, but the guys fry the turkey.
My family and my DH. I"m also thankful that I'm taking the day off tomorrow to go cook.
That's hard. I guess probably the pies. We do apple, pumpkin, peanut butter and some other stuff.
Are you cooking the turkey? No!
What are you most thankful for? My husband getting a good job after spending over a year out of work.
Favorite thing to eat on Tday? That would be like choosing between my children.

A word of warning from your friends at Cracked.com: Remember that text is going to be how you make your first impression over the internet; if every third word you type is misspelled, people will automatically assume that you're a moron.
All the nurses and patients on my unit:) I will head up the FI's folks' house on Friday to be with them, his grandparents, and our kids.
No, I don't care for turkey. FMIL will make one, and a chicken that I will eat.
It's hard to chose something I am most thankful for... So I am going to say my health (which was recently a concern) and a life, friends, family, and love that make health worth having.
Pie. Pecan, Pumpkin, Chocolate... IF it's pie, I love it. Except apple and cherry.
