Hi ladies! I am having my wedding in Newport next summer and have been trying to plan a lot of things early seeing I live out if state. What is everyone paying for hair and makeup services??? Just seems so expensive but what I'm finding may be typical. If anyone has any affordable recommendations let me know! Thanks in advance!

    Take a look at SERAi.  I found her prices to be a little bit better than some others.  And on their facebook page you can see the before and after photos of people's trials.

    I am using KiRa hair salon.  TBH, I don't really remember what they quoted me (it is my normal salon), but I think for the BM makeup was around $60 and so was hair.  I am going in for my normal appt. next weekend and was going to double check so I can share with my bridal party.

    I used Lynda Williams of Formal Hair Design and Jennifer Hodge of Spectrum Makeup Artistry.  They often work together, come right to you, and are absolutely amazing.  I was so impressed with their professionalism and talent.  Everyone looked fantastic and they were such a pleasure to have as vendors.  I highly recommend them!

    I used Allison Barbera for my make-up and she was awesome. Very reasonably priced for all getting their make-up done.  She keeps in touch throughout the whole process and most  importantly the make-up looks amazing.

    I had the same concerns since I also planned my wedding out of state. I just got married two weeks ago and used Kristin Greene for my hair/make up. She brought two assistants with her and they did the hair/make up for me, my bridesmaids, my mom, and MIL. I was very pleased with their work and would highly recommend. I also thought her prices were a lot more reasonable.
