The board is super quiet today! Just stopping by to say hi! I have all my RSVPs back, so now its time to work on the seating chart (it scares me lol)

How are all you doing with last minute planning?

I have all the RSVPs back that I'm getting back.

All the big things are checked off. 2 weeks to go. :)

Hi Amity! I'm glad you have your guest list figured out. 108 is a great number; I'm sure you are happy because I remember you saying you didn't want to be as high as 150. The seating chart shouldn't be too bad. I actually enjoyed making mine.

My planning is going okay. I haven't received my card box yet and I paid $70 so I'm a bit stressed that it won't arrive. I contacted the shop on Jan. 4 and they said it would be mailed out that day and they would give me the tracking number as soon as they get it, but they never sent it to me. I tried emailing them today and they haven't responded. I can't find a number for them either. I'm beyond mad.

We are also still waiting to hear about our "new" groomsman. We're not sure he can do it yet.

Tara, If for some reason you dont get your card box, they are super easy and super cheap to make. If you need any help let me know but I really hope the seller gets in touch with you! Thats just not cool at all!

Hello. I am so happy your rsvps are in. Ot is snowy today and I feel that will slow down my errands tonight she I get off work. I am still making my favors. I need to find shoes but cannot find what I'm looking for anywhere. I also want to make a book of photos. I pick my dress up on Friday. That's about it. I am super swollen from something I pray it goes away by the wedding. It might be allergies but my eye looks like I got stung by a bee. That would be great for pictures. Hope you all are having a good day.

Hi! great news about the RSVPs. What is the craziest excuse someone gave you for not returning the RSVP? My FI's aunt said her toddler ate it. I don't really believe that...I would have been fine if she just said she forgot about it.

I did the seating chart with relative ease (we only have 24 people)...I had to draw circles on a paper to represent tables, and write the names around each table. I dunno, it made it easier. Good luck!!!

Haven't received any crazy excuses, no toddler eating here! I am just amazed at how many "cant find a sitter" excuses I've heard. We sent out STD back in Novemeber... did they not think about looking into a sitter at that point?

No, they didn't and our former groomsman should have put money aside when he agreed to be the groomsman. How do you discover 11 days before the wedding that you can't afford the tux and transportation costs?!
