shortgirl - Yeah, but hey look at the bright side... there are some pretty shady ones out there.  You may have had to do it all pretty much by yourself, but at least you know exactly what your getting yourself into and not having someone mislead you or pushing you.

Now if we could only find a house that either a) doesn't have a postage stamp size backyard or b) have ginormous cracks in the foundation.    We went to about 8 open houses this weekend and all of them were an epic FAIL on at least one of those two requirements.

    Ooooh man, new B&M

The bathroom at work has a sensor on it so it knows when to flush (kind of common now, but still).

Well, I guess the sensor has been turned to SUPER sensitive because, in my short trip in there, it flushed 4 times on me.

GOSH, I'm glad Monday is almost over.

Since about last Monday our neighbor's car alarm has been going off randomly and often.  They've been parking it right outside our apartment which makes sense - it's a good parking spot, and if that puts them in range for turning off the alarm it's good that they can turn it off quickly.  But when it goes off three times a night after 11pm, it's really obnoxious.   Last night they apparently couldn't find a spot near the apartments and had to park further over in the lot, so I'm glad it was someone else's problem for a night.  I hope they get it fixed soon, or else I'm going to have to make a comment the next time I see them.  Or knock on their door at 2am when it goes off.
doesn't have a postage stamp size backyard.  Posted by Tiffany618
Yeah that was one of my issues...I wanted a large backyard.  I've never lived somewhere with a fence and to see these tiny backyards is sad but that's what I get for agreeing to live in the city for DH.

    Good luck on your search!

Now that Best Buy has the market cornered on electronics, I guess they feel that they don't have to answer the phone.  I called the one in Grapevine, Lewisville and Denton and NONE of them answered their phone.  I just wanted to ask a few questions about my Sirius radio.  I miss Circuit City now.....

And while I'm on the subject of missing a store, I still miss Foley's.
