I am looking for a nice restaurant in southern NH to get a gift certificate for someone. I want upscale but not ridiculously expensive. Any suggestions??

The Depot has closed down in Derry.
The Common Man in Windham is rustic but VERY good! Plates run around $18+
The Colesium in Salem

Depending on how far north you are looking, Fratello's and Chop House in Manchester are nice places I think.

There is a Common Man in Merrimack also, same price range, amazing food.

I went to Mileaway in Milford recently and was really unhappy with the food, I would no suggest getting a gift certificate there

The Common Man does have very good food, as well as locations all around the state, and their gift cards can be used at any of their restaurants regardless of the purchase location. I highly recommend them!
