Number of Maids of Honor

HELP! I have six people in my bridal party. I was going to have two maids of honor (because my fiance is having two best men) and four bridesmaids but I can't decide between my three best friends who should be my two maids of honor, I don't feel right leaving one out! If I choose all three my party would be my three best friends (maids of honor) and my three sisters (bridesmaids). Is this tacky? Does it take some of the honor away from being maid of honor? Thanks for any advice you have!

You don't have to match your FI's best men. It's O.K. if you only want one or even zero.

You don't have to have the same amount of maids of honor as your fiancé has best men. Stick with the 1, if you want 1. Have none. Have 3. It doesn't matter, hun.

I agree with Retread. Although you can have as many as you want, it might look like you're reaching too much. Just pick one that will stand next to you but do not give a special title.
